The T8 StediFast HD red single handle leg locks, the quick sideways release Manfrotto style camera plate, the mid level spreader, the smooth pan/tilt action, all make this the best tripod legs and head I have ever owned.

Was in the market for a quality midrange tripod head. Previously had a Miller air and iFootage Komodo. The Air didn't side mount - which these days i won't do without. The komodo was not as robust, and is leaking fluid. I like the obvious tiers of resistance in panning and tilting. The locks feel solid. The quick release took a few tries to get it in on first attempt. The balance feels good. The 75mm bowl locking mount I wish had a quick release style too, and honestly is the cheapest feeling piece to this whol nice package. Haven't used it extensively yet.
